About the Tides at Middle Bluff

Middle Bluff gets two high tides and two low tides most days, and they are not a matched pair. One high or one low each day is clearly bigger than the other. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 19.6 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Wednesday, November 11, when the water moves about 21.2 feet. The lowest water is -0.1 ft on Monday, November 9 at 8:21 AM, and the highest is 21.5 ft on Thursday, November 12 at 5:48 PM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.
