About the Tides at Port Moller

Port Moller gets two high tides and two low tides most days, and they are not a matched pair. One high or one low each day is clearly bigger than the other. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 10.5 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Wednesday, November 11, when the water moves about 11.5 feet. The lowest water is -0.1 ft on Monday, November 9 at 4:11 AM, and the highest is 11.7 ft on Thursday, November 12 at 1:52 PM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.

NOAA station 9463502 here measures the water live and reports its temperature.
