About the Tides at Seldovia

Seldovia gets two high tides and two low tides most days, both about the same size. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 16.2 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Monday, November 9, when the water moves about 22.2 feet. The lowest water is -2.1 ft on Monday, November 9 at 8:25 PM, and the highest is 20.2 ft on Sunday, November 8 at 1:23 PM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.

NOAA station 9455500 here measures the water live and reports its temperature.
