About the Tides at Mackerel Cove

Mackerel Cove gets two high tides and two low tides most days, both about the same size. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 9.8 feet.

The lowest water is -0.3 ft on Sunday, November 8 at 4:12 PM, and the highest is 11.4 ft on Sunday, November 8 at 9:48 AM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.
