About the Tides at Dorothea Bay

Dorothea Bay gets two high tides and two low tides most days, and they are not a matched pair. One high or one low each day is clearly bigger than the other. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 1.1 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Monday, November 9, when the water moves about 1.4 feet. The lowest water is 0.2 ft on Friday, November 20 at 11:03 PM, and the highest is 1.6 ft on Monday, November 9 at 8:57 AM.

NOAA predicts the tides here from years of measurements at station 9751768.
