About the Tides at Vancouver

Vancouver gets two high tides and two low tides most days, and they are not a matched pair. One high or one low each day is clearly bigger than the other. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 2.2 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Monday, November 9, when the water moves about 2.8 feet. The lowest water is 0.1 ft on Friday, November 6 at 10:40 AM, and the highest is 3.1 ft on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:05 PM.

NOAA station 9440083 here measures the water live. Minor flooding starts when the water reaches 14.2 ft.
