About the Tides at Cape Constantine

Cape Constantine gets two high tides and two low tides most days, and they are not a matched pair. One high or one low each day is clearly bigger than the other. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 10.6 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Wednesday, November 11, when the water moves about 12.5 feet. The lowest water is -0.3 ft on Sunday, November 8 at 4:17 PM, and the highest is 12.7 ft on Thursday, November 12 at 2:15 AM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.

NOAA predicts the tides here from years of measurements at station 9464961.
