About the Tides at East Foreland

East Foreland gets two high tides and two low tides most days, both about the same size. On a typical day the water rises and falls about 17.5 feet.

Over the next two weeks the biggest tides come on Monday, November 9, when the water moves about 24.7 feet. The lowest water is -1.6 ft on Monday, November 9 at 11:23 PM, and the highest is 23.2 ft on Sunday, November 8 at 4:00 PM. A minus tide like that uncovers the most beach, flats and tide pools.
